Time to get the old baritone back out. This is an old instrumental that my dad use to play around the house - that's probably when I got interested in playing the guitar myself. The Fender Baritone, tuned way down to "B" really sounds good on this tune.

  • Hi Folks - Further to my previous comments on this tune I can see where I am going wrong now and its very simple - I should put my Gretch on E Bay and leave the playing to great artists like yourself - thanks for all your videos on You Tube they are brilliant and I have saved them all - keep em coming - many thanks Dave

  • @guitarpicker947 We really appreciate your nice comments - but forget about EBay, you play a great guitar yourself - not to mention sing too. I'm happy you've looked at some of our videos....Have you came across the one we did recently called "Sunny"? Debbie plays the drums and the bass at the SAME TIME. It's kind of fun to watch. Thanks again for your support.

  • What a brilliant sound you have on your guitar I wish my Gretch Country Gent was that good - a big well done on this number please put more up soon and a big thank you for sharing - Dave

  • @guitarpicker947 Thank you for the comments. My Baritone guitar has a unique sound all of its own....it's tuned way down to B; when I play what looks like an E chord, it's really a low B chord. I've got about 6 or 7 songs on YouTube using the Baritone and I really like the sound. Take a listen to "Tuxedo Junction" and "You Don't Know Me" if you'd like to hear more baritone style. Thanks again for keeping in touch. - Jim

  • That is great music! Needs new more positive lyrics to match the tune though.

Great Bass player too! *Five Stars*

  • @TTexas2 ..Thanks for the nice comments. I'll check out your channel.

  • @MajorSeven59 . Thanks Frank - a fun one to play. I'm missing AK.

  • What a great tune for the old Baritone.

    Got that Duane Eddy Vib.

    Great Job you guys.

    Love it.

    Frank

  • @rnrhc10 We love country - it's a very popular style here in Idaho. I'll try some blues on the baritone. Thankzzzz for watching our video.

  • Hi Jim I'm not familiar with country. It's a style you hardly hear in the Netherlands. But nevertheless I did like the sound of this old Fender.

I would suite a SRV number very well I think. So lets hear the Blues on the baritone.....

    Greetingzzz

    Rob
