Being a massive fan of Morrissey and loving alot of his work, I have finally decided that this is my favourite song of his. "The heart feels free" bit near the end of the song his voice is mesmerizing. So beautiful. I personally think this song is about his celibacy.

@BeveledSpilchOnion You are right. I apologize. I was reading something about Faithfull and misunderstood. But she did do a version of it which he must have thought was pretty awesome because he has been a fan since 1964. I guess it was like Sandie Shaw singing Hand In Glove with The Smiths playing along.
