This song is just perfect. It's so warm - it truly epitomizes it's title. Everything about this album was perfect. It should have been #1.

Danny Kirwan, if you're still out there somewhere, thanks for this. It's immortal.

Back in the early 70s, Channel 39 in San Diego used this for the sign off music for the evening news, with beautiful camera shots of the Sun setting over La Jolla. I was a fan of the original Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer, Danny Kirwin lineup & hadn't listened to any of the the Bob Welch/Danny Kirwin music & so didn't realize who this was until I bought "Bare Trees" after I saw FM open for Jefferson Starship in 1974. Imagine my surprise to hear this gem on that LP! I wore the grooves out!

I fell in love with this album in the early 70's. If you are afraid that you may not have a soul or a heart, just listen to this wonderful work of art and you will know, maybe even for the first time.

Danny! Wow Sunnyside is just so beautifyl and enduring. I agree that Danny also had a part in shaping Albatross as the other legendary instrumental work. Wherever you may be Danny, I'm still listening!

@freakdaddydog totally right on and correct!

That Danny Kirwan guy was the fucking man.

@gooberdufus I hadn't heard this song until now, but it is very beautiful. Good choice for a wedding song.

Danny Kirwan for the win.
My wife Mary chose this lovely song to play walking down the aisle 26 years ago today and we've existed there ever since.

Beautiful song. One of my all-time favorite instrumentals.
Thanks for posting.

@muncher64 You're welcome. I think this and 'Earl Gray' are my favorite Fleetwood Mac instrumentals. Both are just gorgeous :)
