It's a Moral Orel video to the song "no children" by the band "the mountain goats." It was actually used in the episode numb which serves as the ending for my vid.

  • I love that no one understands the beauty and sorrowful the truth of this song. The beauty of love gone so wrong, yet still commited. The horror of the commitment so embodied with endearing hatred, love, and inevitability.

  • Always loved Clay, always detested Bloberta

  • The first 2 seasons were a lot more depressing than the 3rd one, if you think about it. It was a vicious satyr about an entire CITY full of people with absolutely no redeeming values whatsoever. Season 3 actually had a lot of really good moments. Joe meeting his mother, Reverend Putty showing concern for his lesbian daughter... and Clay finally getting what he deserved. I loved Season 3, it made the characters so much deeper... and offered at least a little hope.

  • I always tear up a bit by 1:50. Beautifully depressing song.

  • shit this show is depressing as fuck

  • @m1dworldman At first I didnt understand it, but it wasn't a bad show at all. They all really was a dark, fucked up show, but good

  • i like to dedicate this song to my EX may she gets what she deserves

Oh yes, I'm very familiar with Elliot Smith. Everything about him is depressing.

  • @terminaldeity you should check out the artist Elliott Smith's work (and his life story in general...he ended up stabbing himself to death...allegedly at least, the details of his death are a bit sketchy to be honest). A lot of his material was used in the film Good Will Hunting but pretty much his entire artistic output is some of the most gut wrenching, depressingly beautiful work.

  • This song made the Moral Orel episode it was in so much more sad.
