re the CRM114 machine. I read that Kubrick loved that perticular sequence. Several of his movies have a CRM114. (Can anyone name another movie that has it?)
I gotta get me one 'o them there machines. WE CANNOT AFFORD A CRM114 GAP!

To show you what an Alice-in-Wonderland world we now live in, Gen. Buck is sounding more sane than I originally observed.

When I saw this movie in the theater as a kid, I literally fell off my seat into the aisle laughing. The part that got me was when Peter Sellers couldn't control his hand and was spinning around in his wheel chair. This film is pure genius. By the way, Kubrick was very much into 'conspiracy theories' and takeover of the world by powerful men. I've only found a little of his views online. I guess he kept most of his views secret, for fear he wouldn't be able to get funding for his films.
