Hi Bill...
What leader lengths do usually go with on your donkeyrig? I usually go with a 9-12 & a 15-18 inch when using soft plastic jerkbaits. Should I make a change when moving to a hard swimbait?
Have you tried using varying sink rates on this rig & does it work? I know the BBZ-1 Baby only comes in 1/fps but I gotta assume you've investigated :)
I know you work for LAFD - BTW Thank You for your service... But do you ever guide?
Thanks,
Mike

zionkid420,
1. your leader lengths are about the same as I use, and yes I have used it with all sink rates (works great top, middle, bottom)
2. as for guiding, I stop many years ago. Just have to much on my plate with work, family and fishing

dennislogston,
there are better ways during the spawn but keep this one in mind after the spawn into the fall

Thanks Bill... I was specifically meaning using different sink rates on 1 rig... Also I apologize for mislabeling your double rig as a donkey rig, didn't notice that it was a 3 way fixed connection not a slider. I am gonna try this tomorrow with a few different sink rate swimbaits both fixed and sliding and I'll let you know how it goes. Tight Lines

I will defiantly put this rig to good use this year! Plainly amazing swimbaits. I love Spro! How would this work during spawn?
