The Secret of the Hidden Garden

Inspired by the Hidden Gardens at The Tramway, Glasgow this project was a collaboration between Red Kite and Storytelling Unplugged. The film, The Secret of the Hidden Gardens, was produced by pupils at Pollokshields Primary School, and screened in The Hidden Gardens as part of The Inspiration Festival 2005. This film was shown at the "Co-Operative Film Festival in Bradford, in 2006.

The idea for the project was developed by Margaret Smith, storyteller and Red Kite animator Helen Comloquoy. Fifteen hour long workshops with pupils took place, beginning with a trip to the Hidden Gardens for inspiration.

The project was funded by Glasgow City Council Culture and Leisure Services, The Hidden Gardens and Cultural Co-ordinator, Christine McCandlish.
