Here's the original video description:

Lou Ryder needs a video intro! He's not looking for anything fancy. He just wants a very simple intro, like YOU saying "Welcome to Lou Ryder World", or something like that. No special effects needed, no fancy music needed, just YOU and your imagination.

So, what's it worth to ya?

You'll get great exposure, and a chance to WIN a Lou Ryder T-Shirt. There will be three (3) Lou Ryder T-Shirts given away as prizes.

Official Rules: Make a 'Video Intro' pertaining to Lou Ryder, the Lou Ryder channel, or Lou Ryder World. You must mention the name "Lou Ryder" at least once. Entries should be between 5 and 15 seconds long. Only one entry per screen name allowed.

Your 'Lou Ryder intro' can be good, bad, happy, sad, insulting, inspiring, ANYTHING! But you must mention the name "Lou Ryder" at least once.

All entries will be judged by a panel of YOUR fellow YouTubers.

Who are the judges? Good question! If you don't have any desire to enter this contest, then YOU qualify as a judge. If you would like to volunteer as a judge, simply write in the comments, "I volunteer to judge".

10 judges will be picked randomly from all volunteers, and the judges names and links will be listed below. If you post a video response, you cannot be a judge.

Warning: Judges may be subject to bribes and coercion. It might not be pretty. Lou Ryder is not responsible for any bribery or coercion attempts made by contest participants directed towards the judges.

After the contest ends, Lou Ryder will message the judges, and ask them to pick 3 winners each. Each judge can pick ANY three videos they want, from all qualified entries. No questions asked. Repeat: The judges can pick any 3 videos they want.

The votes will be tallied up, and whoever gets the most votes, wins. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place.

Entry deadline is midnight, October 13, 2007. Winners will be announced shortly thereafter, after all votes are counted.

FAQ: A few people have asked if they CAN use fancy graphics in the intro. Yes, you can. I just didn't want to discourage ANYONE from entering the contest, so I said that you don't NEED fancy graphics to enter. Thanks!

One last note: The application that I use to download YouTube videos, "TubeSock", won't download videos that have been uploaded to YouTube as "Video Cam Direct Uploads". If you can, please try to avoid uploading your videos as direct uploads. If anyone knows any workarounds for downloading these type of videos on a Mac, PLEASE let me know. Thanks.
