I'll be in the OBX this coming saturday. Cant wait. I have a question.....If I get to this bridge at around 9am, is there usually traffic that early? It is 4th of july weekend.

heading toward the bridge at that timme you should be pretty good. Worst starts at noon and builds until you go crazy. Just so you know, the ciity of Chesapeake jacked the tolls on the "Chesapeake Expressway" from $2 to $6. Change your GPS to "AVOID TOLLS" and you can take 168 (Battlefield Blvd) and save $6. Enjoy your time in one of my favorite places on Earth.

Man I can't wait to cross that bridge again in 3 weeks. I have to stop watching your OBX vids because I can't stand waiting for May 28th to arrive. Lol
