Show of hands people, this game and it's sequal are two of the very few things that had kept Lucas afloat. Fact?
^^ No seriously, this game is awesome, the sequal is more detailed, has almost double in things to do and even more feats skills and upgrades, not even mentioning the awesome cast of characters.
However, this one, the first Kotor, has a ...a 'lighter' setting to it, at least in my opinion. It even has a happy ending, the second one has no dual ending (Spoiler <( Sorry).

Choosing the color of your lightsaber. Some "trial". I guess this is how the Sith are slaughtering so many Jedi - their "trials" consist mostly of personality quizzes.
