I'm no fan of gels. Suggest one and I might a) laugh b) run c) look upon you in horror or d) stare at you into oblivion. My beliefs on gel are as follows: they all contain alcohol, leave a 'wet' look, provide you with a personal snow cap (flakes) and make hair stiffer than the Eiffel Tower.

I did my research. I read a ton of reviews on naturallycurly.com and heard a surprising amount of testimonials in favor of Batia & Aleeza's Bio-Herbal Mineral Sculpting Gel:
http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlproducts/view/2158/batia-aleeza-bioherbal-m...

I tried it out today and couldn't be more pleased. My curl has bounce, volume, definition, shine, etc. The product is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. It totally has dispelled my suspicions...well for liquidy gels any way.

I haven't felt the need for a refresher so far. Right now it is 4 pm ct. I honestly can't wait to see what day 2 looks like!

  • Try flaxseed/linseed gel or gelatin. They are natural gels you can make yourself in your kitchen. Check it out on expertvillage and thehairoine before you totally give up on gels.:) Good luck

  • Your hair looks gorgeous! i will defintely check out this hairline.
