Submissions 101: Peruvian Necktie

There are several ways and grips to set up the Peruvian Necktie. This is how we do it in the 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu system. You can't have your hands too tight or they will pop off when you sit back and throw the leg over. This is a very tight choke which comes on in less than 3 seconds.

good, but u need a better aproach on getting your leg free, alot of people will stilll hold on, and just out muscle u so u wear yourself out. if you r strong or have big legs youl b fine, if not id let them have the leg and go for a gieteen

In class yesterday i was doing some stuff like arm bar and triangle from the back and thought it would be cool to try this from the back too, i got it but it was a little awkward, any tips? ive done some searching and havent found any videos or links explaining it, im not talking about back control like in the video but real back control - hooks in, arms tied up with rnc defense you know? be cool if ari replied.
