I don't get it though,when Japan invaded China in WW2,man they did so many atrocities to their men and boys and young girls and women, can't even imagine that happening here.Though, why the hell did they support North Korea?anybody

the US had the most powerful nuclear force in the world, but russia ruled in conventional forces. as is already said in this documentary, the US army was very weak

right. But in the fifties the Soviet Union received financial aid from the Bank of England. And they got their nuclear secrets fresh from the United States. The truth of the matter is this. Every conflict is kept contained and managed by laws of economics. There was hardly ever any real threat of a sudden nuclear war to the world. But the Red Chinese knew USA could have taken them out, so they backed off.

I guess I can agree with you. I guess USA didn't want so much blodshed, afterall, they could not gain too much.

well i agree with u that we could have stayed and won in Vietnam but the reality is we left so unfortunately it is a loss even tho we dominated Vietnam

@Pvtm4a1 Thats true, the US never lost one major conventional battle in Vietnam. And the Socialist celebrated Tet offensive was draining all of the Vietcong and north vietnamese strenght. the Tet offensive was a total failure, though the media of the time and many still today think it was a masterstroke. Indeed trying to launch a conventional offensive on the worlds greatest military power, its ridiculous.
