If you would like to make your own overworld graphics, I suggest doing that by modifying GFX files 1C/1D/08/1E since they are the GFX files that the overworld uses. After, make sure to save your modified GFX files as ExGFX files.
@TheBulzomeGuides Every time I insert ExGFX to the overworld, it becomes all glitched.
Also, how do you load palette files onto the overworld? So many of the overworld ExGFX files also come with a palette file (.pal). What am I supposed to do with it?

When you open the ''Change submap FG GFX list'' there is a long test explaining that.
