Hi I'm Helena age 15; I have been performing since I was just 3 years old!

One of my first TV appearances was on Popstars the rival extra ITV2, age 7, the year Girls Aloud was formed, Nicola and Kimberley sent me their autographs, Dane Bowers, Donna Air, and Hayley Everett all said really nice comments about my short performance.

At 8 years I was a regional finalist for a TV program, called Jam on the Mic, sponsored by ASDA, the winner went on to perform on SKY TV.

Also at age 8 I starred in and narrated in a 10 minute film produced by University of Hull students called the "Wall" as the character Ruby, it was outside in an allotment and it was really wet and freezing, but it was supposed to be sunny spring day.

I've done lots of acting, drama, and musical theatre shows, last year I had two main roles at the same time, Anna in the King and I, at school, and Mary in Mary Poppins at NAPA musical theatre school, I think considering we got flooded out of our house at the same time (a drama in itself!) I did really well!

When my dad auditioned for X-Factor, and got through to see Simon, Sharon and Louis, I was filmed with Ben Shephard, GMTV presenter, I was also interviewed by the producers, and I had a really great time, also got to see Kate Thornton and Tony, Simon's bouncer.

I've won quite a few competitions all over the country, and I think the best thing has been meeting really nice people who have given good advice.

I love doing charity concerts and general shows, some events I've performed at there have been X-Factor contestants at the same show, Chico was really cheeky and good fun, the Cheeky girls drew an audience of approx 12000 (I was praised by the organisers for being confident enough to perform in front of such a large audience!), Journey South were down to earth, they pinched some of my mums fish and chips, and at the after event party they were really pleasant and easy to talk to.

More resently I have been selected along with two others to form a girl group called Finesse! We have rehearsals regularly and we are now looking for paid gigs!
