  • So sex is 200% genetic, 0% non-shared environment and -100% shared environment?!

  • Thank you for equation for genetic variance professor or Berkeley. My professor did put these into our tests yet without any sufficient explanation what it is or how should we count it. Yet it's quite simple.... G = 2*(MZ - DZ), that's all I needed to know. Ridiculous.

  • Here's how the "hinky" equation for genetic variance is derived

    MZ correlation = Genes + shared environment

    DZ correlation = 1/2 genes + shared environment

    MZ = G + S

    DZ = 1/2G + S

    subtract the simultaneous equations

    MZ - DZ = 1/2G

    multiply by 2

    2(MZ - DZ) = G

  • Brilliant lectures. Thank you.

  • is that a catch 22 question?

  • I got a question ...

    "How does attitude contribute with humans variances?"

    kinda have da answer but want 2 get others people's ideas and responses. Thank you Professor K !

  • yup

  • he said intercourse
