You use what ? 1920x1080 ? On a 50" THIS SUCK THIS IS AWFULL COMPARED to the 2560x1440 27", is your LCD LED ? NO of course THIS SUCK compared to the 27" LED.
I can do everithing you do, and bt with more class and i can do really more...
Hdmi is for Console and poor HD or Full HD definition...

theres no such thing as a led display. i think you mean lcd led and yes my screen is. i can sit back on the couch with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse and do everything on a nice big screen. i get full hd with 3000000000 :1 contrast ratio. no i cant use display port but theres really no need to. how is it creepy when i have a full media centre at my finger tips topped off with a yamaha AV receiver and theater surround sound

ERM where have you been living in the caves, LED is the not so new display type, the best picture quility available thats in production, LCD is less superior, and the contrast ration you have mentioned is the Dynamic ratio, which is usually a high number so it looks impressive, where as monitors ussually show up as Native Contrast Ratio, which is ussually represented by a lower number but is still as/if not better.

a lcd led tv with 1920 x 1080 pixels and 3000000000 :1 contrast ratio at 200hz is going to shit all over any apple monitor. as i was saying there is no led display. its still lcd with led back lighting. dont you understand that. and as far as display ports go, they do not support audio. where as hdmi does. im using hdmi as well as optical.

LED TVs are technically a member of the LCD TV family. The display screen on a LED is a liquid crystal display the same as it is on any other LCD TV. The main difference between the two lies with different backlighting techniques which may change the picture quality characteristics dramatically.
