Very nice!!
I'm trying to make a gear counter on a kawasaki z750, too. Is it possibile to have schematics of this project? Or, at least, electrical specifications like signal amplitude, etc...?
Thanks ^^

How does the standard speddometre compare with the accurancy of the digital?
What's the discrepancy?

@Drobium77 The accuracy of the mechanical speedometer is approx. 10% higher, this means that at 100Km/h indicates 110Km/h but keep in mind that accuracy is affected by the front wheel diameter and wear. The digital that I have built can be re calibrated at any time (using a GPS) reaching 100% accuracy.

If my bike has a mechanical speedo via a cable, will thisindicator still work?

@lateboy4 An electronic speed sensor must be installed first. To measure speed the most easy way is the use of an optical sensor attached at the front wheel.
