I think he did an EXCELLENT job with this, understanding how the Japanese phrasing of lyrics aren't the same as English phrasing. And remember, this was was written in Japanese, so transcribing it into English, and doing it in a manner that it actually FITS the melody without losing the lyrics' meaning....that's hard to do. So, really, he did and EXCELLENT job with this! AND made it sound just a GREAT as the Japanese version.

Compared to his other songs he's sung in english or the bits he says here and there, I think this is really good. *is happy*

His singing is lackluster here and not as good as on CD. My guess the language thing, in the studio he can stop and start again. Having said that he's usually spot on when singing live compared to his recording. His english is very good from what I've heard of it and extremely understandable.
