Another of their great shows, well worth the journey to. Fee great as usual, and the band had loads of energy, plus Rogers great guitar playing. Not forgetting Prairie's superb performance. Hope they come back in the next year or so. " I don't want to wait too long" :)

Having said that, I've been a fan of the tubes for about 20 years. It never even occurred to me that they were gay, I just thought they were excellent musicians and Phee was a hero to me, regardless of his sexuality, and always will be. Why is it that your sexuality becomes more important than all other characteristics that define you as a person.
Don't you feel that the more you define your sexuality, the more you alienate yourself from what would be considered the norm?

Overtly GAY! That's what destroyed them. You can call me homophobic or any other popular catch phrase that happens to be popular at the present time. Sexuality is a very private matter. Is it really necessary that we all know your sexual preference? I don't really care about what other people do behind closed doors. What I do behind closed doors? That's my own business. You'll not see me parading through the streets acknowledging my sexuality because I don't believe it's anyones business.

Brilliant gig. First time I've seen them and they certainly didn't disappoint. Did anyone happen to catch any of Prarie's drum solo on video, or know of what's being done with the footage recorded at the front?

Isn't he just the best drummer? Just so tight, slick, technical, intuitive, relaxed, powerful, fast, precise and MUSICAL... I was going to record it, but u know, I just wanted to hear.
