@bigjamesbrown: sorry for the late reply driver. No, just a four wheeler parked where the NYCDOT had a flock of meter-creatures hanging out in alleys. You leave the car, and they wait for you to leave then write you up. I was not even in the lobby for a quick delivery when a lady came in and told me "Hey mister, you is gettin' a ticket out there!" $115 later and lesson learned!

@bigjamesbrown medical suspension of DL. i can get a doc to sign off on a waiver but i may be considered "damaged goods" so finding another job may be diffiicult at best. so idk if ill persue it again. the idle ban lol. unless youre at a stop that has those window units, an apu is only way to stay well, alive. and pneumonia free

lol i started with kllm, then usa, then us express. then solo briefly ( O/O ) before i got off the road. 2.5 million miles later i do miss it sometimes

@bigjamesbrown still enjoy conversing with drivers, trading war stories if you will. NYC was scary as all hell first time in. but heck if you can drive NYC you can drive anywhere. not easy BUT it teaches you to KNOW what you can, and cannot do with a truck

@yamahonkawazuki I know exactly what you mean, I hated NYC / New Jersey at first then I started to like it. I just don't get the whole idle ban thing when you have no APU in your truck. Are we suppose to freeze lol? What made you leave trucking if you don't mind me asking?
