@chatapayamauthz it is there society. there was no violence and i noted respect on both parties involved. next time the girl may dress a little better. the older lady wanted her to appear more hidden according to the same fashion she herself grew up in. they don't want another woman to look " easy". islam religion looked ok to me there. peace.

I'll tell them to f**k off - who are they to tell women how to dress. Its not culture or religion - its men dictating how women should live. Its womens lives we will live the way we like.

The sad thing is that woman wasn't being harassed by men to cover herself up and obey their laws. It was other women demanding she cover up. Maybe it's true that it's the women of Islam that demand this extreme form of modesty, and not the men. But I wouldn't say that she was being abused; they were just talking, fairly respectfully. She could have ignored them.... hopefully.

You know what? You may not agree with Islamic practices, you may not like them and think they are harmful, but what you just posted is absolutely shameful. Islam is a "cancer in the world"? And you want to "go to Iraq and kill the most muslim people possible"? Really? I find it funny that gays like you defend Islam, and then talk about the so-called "religious right" in America as though they were Nazis. Gays are treated far better in the West than you will ever be in Muslim countries. As always, you flaunt your hypocrisy.

I don't defend Islam; I defend Muslims, as humans who don't deserve to be talked about as if they were a cancer simply because people don't agree with its practices. That doesn't mean that I would become Muslim or want to live in a Muslim country. I love where I live and enjoy equal rights in my country. As for the religious right in America, I don't live in America, so I have nothing to do with them; and besides, no one deserves to be talked about as if they were Nazis, that's just plain wrong.
