THIS IS TOTALLY MISLEADING!!!

The Scots MPs at Westminster are busy providing plum English jobs for fellow Scots.

They are busy lobbying Government contracts to Scotland.

They are busy ensuring the continuity of the Barnett formula.

They are busy inflicting as much damage as they can on the Auld Enemy so that when Independence for Scotland eventually arrives England will be too weak to negotiate terms.

They are busy exporting English jobs to Scotland. They are working hard behind the scenes.

Not TOTALLY misleading - The video was intended to try and bust the myth that MPs with Scots constituencies are doing local stuff for their constituents. We are always being told that hardworking MPs spend a hell of a lot of time working on constituents' problems - that function has now been taken over by MSPs. The vid' does attempt to explain their behind the scenes plotting - for to do so will take a very long video indeed. I merely tried to show a corruption of the democratic process.

When you ask the people do you want to spend 10s of millions on an English parliament to duplicate the work and be an extra layer of government, i think you will find peoples support is less certain, even if they say they support an English parliament, do they view it as important or a priority? no

I think you will find when we have a conservative government, the view we need an English parliament will decline. Oh and theres a big difference between wanting a parliament and a break up of the UK

An EP will replace the flaccid Westminster model with smaller more accountable governance! 70% of W'minster's time at the mo' is taken up with English only legislation. Get rid of it, replace it with a SMALLER & CHEAPER EP - (& get rid of 150 MPs from W, S & NI). Next, dissolve the H of L (& 700+ Lords) and replace with a SMALL federal chamber of (say 100) reps taken from the 4 home countries to take care of the 30% left over which is UK bizz.

The London assembly doesnt have the same role or powers but its still a complete joke. The reason Scotlands parliament is no joke and may have helped scotland is because they can focus on Scottish matters the way the UK parliament couldnt in the past. But the uK parliament already spends alot of time running England or England and Wales rather than the whole UK.

There is just no need for a whole england parliament. Much better to strenghten local and county councils than create a new body

scottish separatism was alive and well before devolution but it wasnt int he dangerous position its in today influencing govrenment policy and running scottish schools.

labour tried to give each region of england its own assembly, like london has one.. but the people of the north east rejected that so they stopped.

devolution was given to wales and scotland because they make up a small part of the UK there for needed a method to stop english dominating the vote on scotland / welsh matters.

that is not a problem england faces as it has over 80% of the seats and population. devolution has many flaws, labours manifesto in 1997 claimed devolution would destroy separatism. look how thats working out, for the first time in 300 years separatists are running scotland
