Visitors to the betting company's Spanish website are being invited to bet on the number of ears carved off the heads of bulls that have been tortured in bullrings.

Ears are cut from the bulls as grisly trophies for the matadors. The animals will have suffered enormously in the bullring and, if they are still conscious when the ear is cut off, their agony will be even greater.

Even though I'm open-minded and can understand how people, and animals would by instinct do almost anything to survive (as we would to support ourselves or feed our children), I as a person cannot accept the insensitive nature that allows someone to be able to consciously torture or abuse any living thing, small or large, unnecessarily. I would almost say that anything in excess should be inflicted on the people themselves.

Oh my, how totally awful is this.... do not support animals in sports or entertainment or you are contributing to this.
