What's with the editing in this film? It's really disorienting!

A badass movie. I mean, the ninjas are incongruous, but that's the fault of the source material. It was one of those 70's spy novels that were more like politically incorrect, bloody versions of G.I Joethan realistic accounts of spy-craft.What your paying for is Sam Peckinpah doing what he does best, depicting hard men taking care of business. And THe Killer Elite stars were legit tough guys:Bo Hopkins was ex-Army, James Caan is a renowned Martial Arts expert. and I think Duvall served as well.

worst ninjas in the world!

I feel it probably would make a helluva lot more sense if Locken and crew battled KGB agents rather than Ninja.

@CesMan83 True you make a good point there.

Sam Peckinpah and ninja...somehow I don't feel that combination works. Robert Clouse of "Enter the Dragon" fame should have directed "The Killer Elite" instead

"I'll hold 'em here 'til Hell freezes over or you say different!"
- Bo Hopkins is the definition of vintage underrated!

You gotta be the world's wimpiest, most pathetic ninjas ever if you could get your ass kicked by Paulie from "Rocky!" ;p
