Great Tip - I have also learned that you need to get the entire torso over the left leg for best power lag/compression.
One question though because I hear teachers and pros give conflicting advice on this subject, how open should your left hip be at impact?I have heard 20 degrees 45 degrees or even face the ball.Does it differ from club to club or is there a uniform angle of openess at impact?
Thanks

@secretogolf Thanks for the question. How much does the left hip open depends on the clubface and swing style. If the swing style is more around (i.e one plane), the face is open less and thus the left hip will open more. If the swing style is more vertical (i.e. two plane), the face is more open and thus the left hip will open less - to allow for more swinging of the body. Exact numbers can really only be measured using a 3-D system. It would differ from club to club because (CONT)

@McDanielGolf (CONT) ...each club is different in how much it swings up/down or around. I can not imagine that there is a uniform angle at impact because pretty much all TOUR players are different. Hope this helps.
