wow that sucks.i hope that doesn't happen to me. is there any way i could get accepted by having a 2.9 GPA and doing average in ACT and SAT and have taken every class that goes with my ideal career (architecture) i have gotten A+ in drafting,auto CAD,interior design etc. and have been in top in those classes. i have gotten strait As and Bs in my senior year. the college i plan to go haves a very good architecture program. so is there any way that i have chance to get in?

@509GAMER it all depends on the circumstances... the reason why they didnt accept me (or at least what the letter said) was that the architecture program was impacted and so they were only taking 100 students in for that major

wow! that sucks. I am applying. Yea, i kind of ruined the whole flow of these comment of already being rejected, but yea. I'm just scared that I won't be accepted anywhere.

But yea, Long Beach is an awesome school. congrats on ur second choice!

well i wanted to go to san diego jsut because i knew is hard to get accepted but my dream was to be in CSULB .. so i am happy for it!!!

my first choice was Pomona... i was planning on doing Architecture there, but since i didnt i am doing mechanical engineering and am planning to minor in film and electronic arts

A few days ago, I got the rejection letter from Cornell, not even a deferral.. straight up rejection, it was the first college I submitted, my first choice, wanted to go there for years

Now, my bf just got accepted into Yale, wow.. I'm so happy for him, but I cant help but feel like shit, feel like i'm not good enough for him anymore

So yeah, I feel your pain.. but life goes on, hope you'll be happy anywhere you end up at

@JohnRhysMusician Ehh, when you get to that level of selectivity, it's impossible to know what will happen, even between peer schools. I'm almost happy that they didn't waitlist me, although I'm not certain I would've remained on the list if they did. I'll be very happy next year at Williams. As you said, it's a great school.

@ECequalsGOD Williams is the best liberal arts in the country. I am kind of surprised someone would get into Williams and not Amherst given the similarities.

Wanted to go to Amherst ever since I started high school... Got rejected last night. I thought I might've had a chance... I got into Williams, Midd, and Wes. Regardless, I have good choices. I get what you mean, though. It really sucks.

I just got flat out rejected from NYU and USC in the same day, my two dream schools. I want to study film and those are the best in the world and they both rejected me even though according to my scores I was qualified and I have done so much work on my applications. Not sure what to do, but I think I'll put a video like this up. Feels like shit.

Bro you make a big deal out of it, if you study hard enough, you'll just make a transfer after two years, I know someone who was going to Laguardia community college, got a good gpa, and the year after she was in columbia!! done lose your hope and believe in yourself!!
