Any idiot? LOL. People train their asses off to get rid of accents or to perfect an accent. You would not know how many people were fooled when they realized that Hugh Laurie from HOUSE was actually British because his British accent was virtually nonexistent. Sure, you might be able to pull it off for like a few seconds, but it's incredibly hard to make it something like second nature where no hints of a different accent comes up
