For £600 million they could have built a fantastic permanent stadium that could have had a lower tier that is on rollers thereby allowing for a running track during the olympics and future athletics events. Then, for the majority of the time, to suit the needs of football, the lower tiers could be moved over the running track so that the fans have a good view over the action. LOCOG really don't have a clue, and they don't seem to care either on public opinion (the stadium, logo, ticketing...)

I love the fact that the olympics are comming to the UK, however, I think some of the decisions made have been ridiculous. The stadium looks awful, this is meant to be the centrepoint of the games and it is hideous! Also, we were sold on the idea that it was a sustainable cheaper design as it was to be reduced after the games. So... it cost £600 million, thats without the cost of the after-games conversion plans! These plans should have been in place before the stadium was designed and built!
