Caminos de Tango is a story that begins on the streets of Buenos Aires and as long as love is alive, it will not end ... It is then, that the songs of a wandering singer, talking about dreams, depression, war, sorrow, the need for communication, hope ... and the moment comes that all this becomes a hug, a movement, a dance.
Friends, old friends, travelers to unexpected stories of dark streets and cabarets wander in the magical world of tango, where anything can happen. The imagination and the frenzy offer their colors to this magical music that transforms everything around it, like in the paintings of Miro ... In this wandering about the ways of tango, different rhythms, sounds and cultures are merging and soon we are transferred to colorful Cuba with its crazy Latin rhythms.
Creator of this journey is choreographer and dancer, Leonardo Gomez, who draws his inspiration from the journey of tango itself. Since its birth of the streets of Buenos Aires, until its moment of glory, Tango traveled everywhere to conquer the theater stages around the world.
In the second part of the show, choreography with elements of classic and contemporary dance spice up the endless world of Tango Argentino.
Leonardo Gomez combining harmoniously Tango Argentino with classical and modern dance, as well as with original Latin dancing creates a spectacle of great virtuosity, complimented by the amazing voice of Janet Kapuya and the wonderful music of the orchestra Havana Tango.
The artistic result is also signed by painter Margarita Plessas who -in cooperation with the founder of the group Leonardo Gomez -, creates tableaux of high aesthetics. Margarita Plessas originates from iKARIA

ICARUS FESTIVAL FOR DIALOGUE BETWEEN CULTURES
This Festival is an annual venue organized by all 3 municipalities of Ikaria, (an island of Greece, which bears the name of the mythical flyer Icarus).
This International Music Festival came to life in 2006 in IKARIA , under the artistic direction of Klaudia Delmer, an artist herself.
