  • Yes for everyone who says they are the dumbest dog....they are not. Personally I have 2 Afghans and one of the best dogs I have had and won't ever go back. Because they are .."self-made" ,aloof, and very independent. They do although preform when taught -mine can sit, shake, lay down, and stand up- But the fact of the matter is they are not like other dogs-thus why they are looked down upon, they are in fact more like cats! so next time you do a test, do it on natural witts-the afghan would win

  • lol, reading ur comments made me laugh because Afghans themselves are just the same as their dogs.. They are fiercely independent ,, they don't like to take orders from any higher rank, they are self reliant .. They do anything they want to do but will never do anything u make them do.. I guess the mud and soil of Afghanistan is like dat... Very honorable Soil.

  • I dont know why, but i really like this commercial...

  • @UNJUSTIFICATION1 but how can they live in a pack, when all do what they want? There would be always fights and no trustfully pack! Always there is a need for a boss, who gives orders...even just between dogs, without humans. I think the humans are too dumb to take this position when they have this kind of dogs, cause its more difficult to convince them that you really suitible for this position.

  • Gandalf's dog!

  • ugliest more scary dog there is you guys should get a beagle or bluetick coon

  • HAHAHAHHAA.

God I love independent animals! And yes this dog don't need no hair rebonding.

  • @SwimmingTiger I love their fur absolutly amazing i would get one but i dont have enough space they are huge though

  • @coolmamac

Well ya, naturally they are very independent. But the training can seriously be easy with the right attitude, outlook, and most importantly--the bond you have with the dog.

Although the grooming is a pain to be honest.

The best part though is that I feel they are like humans (very human like). They act like us, and I think its the trait I enjoy the most out of the breed.

  • @SwimmingTiger I always wanted an Afghan. I have an Airedale and they have a bad rap for not being smart either. They are very independent also.

  • rofl... creative!

  • this is SUCH a great ad.
