Eesh.

I don't even know about piano and I can tell this is done badly...butchered the composition.

The gold standard for this music is Poulenc's own 1951 rendition for Columbia. This performance does differ somewhat from Poulenc's own, but it is just as enjoyable because, clearly, the pianist enjoys playing it. Also, how many pianists attempt this music today? I liked it, alot.

wow i'd like to see the people criticising you play this... its a hard piece.
-
This guy sucks. He's playing waaayyy too fast and the peddling is cluttering the sound. Thumbs down.
-
Never heard it like this before. Yikes!
-
horrible peddling and more top note melody, timing is off especially on the 2nd movement.

Great job!

sloppy. tempos are wreckless. Poulenc edited in some real specific pedalings, especially for the 2nd movement... which were completely ignored here. That Bb-D 10th in the 3rd movement should be gracenoted if you cant play it together... definitely not an entire 8th note apart.
Seems like a decent player, but stylistically puts no understanding of early 20th century french piano music into this performance. )-:
(sorry if this comes off as harsh)

Strange, that such details should indicate no understanding of early 20th century French piano music.
By the way, the wreckless tempi are exactly as given by Poulenc himself (by metronom indications).
