The shots in the first three quarters of the video show me doing split shots of various kinds not aiming anywhere in particular other than having the mallet follow the line of the feet as best as possible. In the first sequence you'll see a couple of obstacles near the left and right of the screen. This was to help me keep the balls in view for the camera. The idea is to give the viewer a chance to sort out whether the aim should be the bisect point (half angle) or the point midway between the finishing positions of the balls (mid-line). At the end, I do some wide angle split stop shots approaching a hoop. Here I do try to aim at specific spots (primarily the bisect point). You can see the small white ball markers showing the positions I'm trying to achieve. The black ball is placed exactly midway between the two ball markers allowing the viewer to compare the aim I took and the mid line point. You will see at the end that I aim at the black ball and achieve unsatisfactory results.
