I think Elena had more trouble resisting him here that she'd ever had before. Its obvious why, but she doesn't pull back as he goes to kiss her forehead, even though its not clear where he's going. I think it was mostly shock, but maybe just a little stirring of feelings too. She would have regretted it at this point, but the urge was there. Thumbs up for the slow burn. ;)

This part makes me cry and having him confess his love for her like that and having to make her forget is just so sad. I love Damon SOOO much better than Stefan. Do you guys ever think how it makes Stefan feels knowing that his brother is in love with his girlfriend? How hard it must be for him? He's trying not to start a fight with it and trying to be calm because elena is with him and constantly reassures him "i know damon loves me, but i love you stefan more than anythin"...that's what keeps him going. Stefan wouldn't go after a girl Damon is in a relationship and in love with that girl. Stefan & Elena fell in love with each other FIRST!
