Die hard german

@DasIstPandastisch Aha, genial xD

@htews But this structure like "Karl! Fenster!" should not be a stereotype of evil persons. I sometimes use this structure of "Karl! Fenster!", too. For example I often say "Dennis! Taschenrechner!" (Taschenrechner means calculator) if I need his calculator and I forgot mine. And I'm not evil at all xD
But you're completely right, a short "Fenster!" would've been enough to make Karl understand as well ;)

Considering the German fondness for effectiveness and taking into regard the Hollywood stereotype on evil Germans in combat situations, a simple "KARL! FENSTER!" would have sufficed. :)

@SeverusSnapeFan2 lame

"Das" in this case is correct, but then he´d better say "Zerschiess das Fenster!"
Adding the "zer" makes it clear that the window is destroyed after the shooting at it.
German really must suck for non native speakers... :I

Funny, how many non native speakers make a wrong sentence even worse!
-
I believe its supposed to be "Shiess DAS Fenster"

I like to think that Hans just isn't completely fluent in German. Maybe his family moved to England when he was 8 or something. After all, his brother in Die Hard 3 has an English accent too.

i sayed. " Karl, hättest du bitte die unendliche güte, bitte auf dieses Fenster zu schießen? und bitte nur auf dieses!" xD.... "Ich sagte nur auf dieses !" xD
No, Karl just wonders about why Hans would give him an order like that one. That's why Gruber repeats the order aloud after Karl hesitates.
