A comedian recently attacked Jim Cramer. But Cramer told people that he should sell everything. That is a move that should have wrecked his career. But he stuck out his neck for people, and he saved them a lot of money.

Cramer wasn't giving up on Bear Sterns when it was at 69 dollars, and 7 weeks before the market collapsed, he asked people to buy more Bear Sterns stock. Was it a mistake? Well of course, anyone who recommends a stock and then the stock goes down made a mistake, but here's a shocker: basically every stock is down.

This is a terrible market. You could show videos of Warren Buffett, and he would look like a fool. But Jim Cramer told everyone to sell, but Jon Stewart won't show that clip because he has a comedy show. That kind of thing would kill his ratings.

Jim Cramer has to make tons of calls, and he regrets recommending any stock. Some of the people who gave Cramer his information are now under investigation from the SEC. But Jon Stewart won't talk about that, because he's a comedian.
