Yep this sounds a lot like Alice's Restaurant, but before you think Hot Tuna is borrowing from Arlo Guthrie, Keep in mind that that
Blind Boy Fuller wrote "Trucking My Blues Away" (same song, different title) --and several other songs with the same chord progression--in the mid '30s.

I worked with Jorma in the early 80ties in Europe and the USA. I did lights for him. I live in Munich, Germany. Jorma was over at my place with his then wife "M" often.
Yes...while on tour...he/we got up early and actually saw where we where....Great times...

I toured with the guys, did monitors while working for Activated Air Audio. Some of the most enjoyable "long" nights I ever had while in the industry. They would get up early every morning and go for jogs.
