Nuclear reactors produce clean, safe and reliable energy. Canadian CANDU reactors can be retooled to take spent uranium rods from other reactors and continue to generate power from them. Nuclear "waste" is recyclable and, more often than not still fissile (that is to say still usable for the purposes of generating electricity) without the need for further processing. More importantly, for countries without large sunny deserts such as France, nuclear power generates constant and reliable power.

Wind power would be cheaper if nuclear didn't recieve subsidies for mining? Are you serious? If so, please stop making a total fool of yourself. The fuel is less then 1% of the cost of running a plant, even if it became fifty times more expensive that would only add a few cents per KWh. And there is a 99.99% safe way of getting rid of waste, reprocessing, the French already do it. Nothing is 100% safe, including Solar Panels, their manufacture, transport and installation all put people in danger
