Today I assembled a pseudo motorcycle camera mount. It is my old tripod with pipe hangers attached to it. As you can see it was badly adjusted, but it can be fixed. Bigger problem is that it catches way too much vibrations on bad polish roads. So it is little bit sh*tty. I will try to make that mount better but it will need some welding.

  • It's better than my video. Where is it mounted exactly and what kind of bike? The sound is great. No wind.

  • It is Yamaha FZS600S, it is mounted between handlebars on modified tripod, using some stuff from hardware store ;)

  • I hate vibrations... I'm working on a mount in front of the bike, and I'm having tons of shake too.

  • wow :) I am honored that you visited this video (I've been watching yours for a long time...)

About vibrations - those are mainly generated by a way it was mounted (loosely). Now I am thinking about using ram mounts, but they are priced very high in Europe. AFAIR they even have suction cups to place your camera on a tank.

  • Don't forget to turn the in camera electronic stabiliser on if you have one. It works brilliantly on bumpy roads!!

    Gitfeetch

  • It was turned on, but vibrations were too heavy for camera to handle it (camera was moving almost 2 cm up and down in worst cases) :-)
