  • @slayerkid0196 No its not. Dark matter is something that doesn't interact with photons.

  • cmon folks. it definitely appears to be something, but there's no need to jump to conclusions

  • i guess mankind has seen everything in the universe

  • Let me rephrase that. We can detect it, but It is not detectable as radiation. We detect it by its gravitational effects.

  • Dark Matter isn't radiation. If it was normal radiation, we'd be able to detect, or "see" it.

Radiation is not the same as "emptiness," and Dark Matter is not empty. It is mass that is unaccounted for, interacting with normal matter and radiation only through gravity.

It is something which we have yet to understand the true nature of.

  • It's so dark, it's like how much more dark can it be? And the answer is...none.

  • Nope, it's true. Dark matter is just radiation.

  • This is incorrect

  • What is this...you cannot see dark matter... dark matter is just a phrase astronomers use to define "emptiness", as in no atoms, molecules, chemicals, elements, no light no sound no visibility no nothing. It is still to be discovered how all this works..it actually scares me sometimes...the wide wide universe out there.

  • ISn't it believed that some type of astroid with dark matter landed in a remote area and exploded?
