  • My favorite freaking movie all of the scenes are awesome

  • It's company "Z", not "C".

  • @ev0lve If you have the DVD of The Wall, you can listen to the commentary, and hear Roger Waters talk about how the death of his father in February 1944 that's where I heard it.

  • @ev0lve Was Eric Rogers serving in Company C when he was killed at the Anzio Bridgehead? Or was he assigned to Company Z? I think the point was quite clear, it was not Company "C" at Anzio.

  • @ev0lve this song was written for The Wall in '79, released as a single before '83, well before your "C Company" joined the Fusiliers.

The song does indeed speak of "Z Company" not "C"

  • OH, SHIT! BLARE THIS SHIT!!! YESSS!!!!!

  • @Gunfighter1b

"In 1988 C Company joined 8th (Volunteer) Battalion The Queen's Fusiliers on its formation as one of three rifle companies and is now titled C (City of London Fusiliers) Company, The London Regiment."

  • @Grunts4Hire

    lol wikipedia

  • @Gunfighter1b

i know full well what the song is about. my guess is that you got your information from Wikipedia. it's not sourced there, and you are wrong. there was no company "Z" which you can see for your trite little self on the british army's website.
