The Little Match-Seller

On the night before Christmas, a small girl is sent out in to the cold night by her father, having nothing but her dress and apron the cold wretches her bones and freezes her skin. There is no shelter to be found in the woods, so she continues on into town in hopes that any person be awake and willing to help her at this late hour. With all the kind souls absent or asleep she walks aimlessly through town until she spots a corner between two buildings where the snow was not able to collect. She decides that this is the best she will find, and hunkers down to wait out the cold until morning. Little did she know what wonders were waiting in that corner that even the snow wouldn't touch...
