really... this isnt the way to preach the gospel... did ya save anyone that day?

Its about sending out a loving message and not yelling to people. people dont like this very much. every other person threw your fliers away. Look at your methods in a dif way. and the repent or burn shirts...not cool. yes, thats christianity, but If I wasnt a christian I would hate to see that. its about love, not hate.

The message we preach is loving we warned our neighbor of the judgment and how they can escape God's wrath through the blood of Jesus (Pro 29:5). What would you have said to Jesus when He told people to "Repent or Perish" "Fear Him" and to "forsake all" or they could not be His disciple? Was He loving when He said those and many other things? You would agree Jesus "yelled" to people when He was preaching the Sermon on the Mount? It is not our job to save anyone read 1 Cor 3:5-10

I wish I could have been there. Great Job!! We need more of this, emphasizing love through it. This hurting world needs the love of God in their lives. More crowns to put at His feet. :)

Very awesome to see someone realize the urgency in what people don't know and taking initiative with the little time we have left. What a blessing to see. :) I love God with all my heart and I just wish everybody could realize that God in everything is where you want to be. To be every day in the presence of the Lord. People are missing out. Very good work. What a blessing. Note: For those who want to take God out of everything, Good News!! He won't be in hell either.

The Westboro folks like to dwell on the supposed negative aspects of God, such as hatred and judgment. Fundamentalist Christians like to see God as a combination of good and evil. God (the Creator) is perfect, and has no human failures. True religion is found in Micah 6:8, it is that simple. No doctrines needed.

@tjequalstd20 Personal goals mean nothing before the Lord your God. A man died of a heart problem when he finished the race!! You never know when someone will die. If that man didnt take the message of Jesus to heart then he is suffering eternal torment. Do you have the love of God in you to realize that all men need to come to a realization of Christ as Lord? Or do you not mind that a big majority of people will be suffering in the most bone shuddering place imaginable. It makes me shudder.

@wpward I felt exactly the same way! This is definetly not what I wanted to hear when myself as well as thousands of others are trying to complete a marathon. This was in no way inspirational, and was majorly annoying. I too am Catholic and believe in god, but this was not the time for this, and was very disrespectful. I understand your motive for doing this, but seriously people don't need to hear this preaching shit when they're trying to accomplish their personal goals.
