I, like you monster4josh, was at this concert. I'm a little older and have to confess I did spend some time in the beer garden. When Waylon came on I was right up front. I really got into Waylon when I got back in 66' from serving the USMC in Viet Nam. I've seen him in concert 6 times and each time was better than the last. On my dresser is a picture taken of Waylon and I shaking hands after one of his shows. He is one of my hero's. There are those today that wouldn't be fit to tune his guitar.

Thanks for commenting! Waylon was a great musician (his guitar playing was way under-rated) and a unique singer, and passed away way too young. My first listen to Waylon must have been on the "Wanted! The Outlaws" album--still one of my favorites! I been to 4 or 5 Waylon shows, mostly at arenas, but I would have loved to have seen him play at some small club down in Arizona back in the day!
