The Global Human Rights Torch Relay arrived in the Malaysian capitol, Kuala Lampur,on Sunday. The local chapter of the Committee to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG) urged all Malaysians to pay attention to the human rights situation in China.

STORY:
A the Human Rights Torch Relay runners arrived on the scene, the crowd of supporters held a minute of silence in honor of the victims of the recent earthquake in China's Sichuan province.


Yang Yo Jian, the lawyer representing CIPFG at the event, called for an end to organ harvesting. He stressed that the CCP officials behind the harvesting of organs from Falun Gong practitioners and other detainees in China should be speedily brought to justice.

" Today, the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China is everyone's business-- no one should turn a blind eye. I call on the human rights organizations of the world to help put an end to the foul practice of organ harvesting."


Mr. Peng, a local business man, said he feels the Human Rights Torch Relay is helping people see the true nature of the communist regime in China.

The HRTR will continue around the globe in the run-up to the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.
