Future Islands came out to The 2640 Space in Baltimore (the former church known as St. John's) to show support for the record release of Celebration's "Electric Tarot: Hello, Paradise."
This was done on an obsolete, el cheapo dv camcorder which is (part of) the reason I became enfatuated with the "night vision" feature which makes everyone look really bright and smeary. It's a trippy effect and it suits this band, especially front man Samuel T. Herring.
This is the first two songs of their set. Song titles forthcoming (once I get a glance at the setlist).
@VictorNightengale i think they came to the media club last august (2011), so there's still hope for the future! i also am a retarded fan of theirs and am currently scouring all of youtube for more live footage.
