A True Leader of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, a true martyr: Sayyid Abbas al-Mousawi

He is a genius from South Lebanon, and a man of resistance from Nabi She'et. An educational scholar who studied in Najaf, he studied rigorously to complete his religious studies program to soon return to his home. He led the Islamic Resistance and was assassinated on Feb. 16, 1992 by an Israeli helicopter while he was with his family on his way back from Jibsheet where he finished giving an honored speech honoring his fallen comrade, the Sheikh of the Islamic Resistance, Sheikh Ragheb Harb.
