  • I like how he's running the bucket all the way into the greenhorns and point shiv's to get 1/4th a bucket. The guy needs to get in the face of the muck...lol. Not to mention he's only loading 1 sided? Must be a rookie.

  • @FUCKINROCKIT They run a wire to it from a generating station somewhere else on sight. You can see the two poles where the wire crosses over the haul road at 0:09

    Electric shovels have the huge advantage of being very cheap to run and surprisingly enough are faster than a hydraulic machine of the same size. The downside to electric is that it lacks the breakout force of hyrdaulics and require well blasted material.
