Blackie is an icon in the metal world, I really cant see how anyone can disrespect him or the mark WASP has left and continue to do.

i cant believe there are some ignorant assholes... I cant do anything but pity them...
Blackie is the man, for me he is more than an idol, someone that has built a style inside the world of metal and music in general, he is a god... I FUCKING WORSHIP HIM!

I like the way he kept his cool, even the guy who interviewed him seemed to be a bit.... well, slow. I mean, Joe DiMaio would have just left.

@WaaWaaWaaa Just so u know WASP just played the US, I saw them in New Jersey, and by the packed house, this is the most popular this band has been in years! Thank god a new generation is discovering WASP, because they were one of the originators of hair metal my friend!! Some bands only have one or two classic albums under their belt, WASP has self titled debut, Crimson Idol, Dominator, Babylon, & The Headless Children, ROCK ON BLACKIE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blackie is a load, forced to tour Europe forever. No one cares about his old ass here. No one even knows who WASP is nowadays. Blackie is a clown.

Wow. ok then... let me see YOU write 14 albums, *coughs* excuse me... 14 KICK ASS AND HIGHLY INFLUENTIAL albums, and keep that bands sound consistant throughout every curveball thrown at Heavy Metal, and then have a fanbase thats one step away from being a cult from being so hardcorely loyal. So SHOVE IT!!!!!!

Woo Woo, or whatever your name is - Doesnt deserve respect!! You have to be kidding, I've seen him play a crowd of 90,000 plus and he rocked it from back to front, also, as you predictably stated, Ive also seen him play much smaller crowds, and he rocked them just the same way. Credit where credit is due fella - at (incidentally, STILL 52) years old, he is more physically capable than most of us who sit on our butts on here, venting our spleens everyday. And his lyrical ability speaks for itself
I don't quite follow why blackie voted for mccain when he criticized the idea of american imperialism in this interview. Of course his concerns about obama are legitimate but why didn't he vote for ron paul?

because he didn't want to waste his vote? Voting Ron would probably been right for his point of view, but that vote would not have changed anything.
