Not Cave, no way. Cave's covered plenty, but he's always made the songs his own. Not likely that Bad Seeds guitarist Blixa could ape Bernie that note-pefect or that Cave would use the exact same synth arrangement. Would the poster of this video pls comment about this.

Hmm maybe touching from a distance, the book written by his wife of so many years, which is riddled with direct quotes and opinions. I can tell you now that this is ian, as Nick has a distinctive sound as far as I am concerned. If you took the time to listen to his albums like murder ballads or dig lazarus dig, you would probably, if it wasn't too much of a stretch, be able to recognise this. Sure Cave might be derivitive, but the material he derives from is often literal, not musical at all.
